This matters more than it looks. macOS runs an application opened straight from a disk image or from your Downloads folder at a randomised path, which is a security measure and also stops it being able to update itself. Moving it to Applications in Finder is what clears that, once, for good.

What it needs

• macOS 13.3 or later.
• Video from web pages uses yt-dlp and ffmpeg, both included in the app.

Updates

Download a newer build from this page and replace Weir in Applications. Your downloads, history and settings stay on this Mac.

Already bought a licence?

Open Weir, go to Settings, and paste your key into the Licence box. If you have lost it, you can look it up with the order number and the email address you bought it with.
